Clamp ducting or clipped ducting?

Nordfab industrial ducting is available in two different fitting types. QF (quick fit) clipped or clip together ducting is available in a wide range of sizes up to a maximum diameter size of 710mm. FL (flanged) ducting bolts together with the flat faces of the flanged ends pressed together to seal the joint. FL flanged ducting is for even larger diameter systems up to 1,000mm diameter.

QF clipped ducting is renowned not only for the quality of the galvanised steel metal ducting but also for the speed of installation and the ease with which it can later be unassembled for cleaning, maintenance or movement of your ducing system.

Ducting fittings and duct accessories

It’s very important that you design your ducting system carefully. You will need to ensure you take account of a number of principles covering airflow volume, pipe runs. You can read more about this and QF ducting installation here to see just how easy it really is!

You’ll then also need to consider the duct fittings and duct accessories you need. These are available in the shop and include QF duct clips, split duct hanging straps, duct O ring seals, duct hose clamps and more.
